Configuring Tablet/Kiosk App

Introduction

The Process

Firstly, you'll need to ensure you've requested the new location code from Atria, following the process detailed in the above link.

Once you have the configuration information, you can input this information on to the tablet. Once you've installed and opened the app, tap the screen and enter '1234' as a VRM and press Accept.
Doing so will take you to a configuration menu within the app:


From here, tap the arrow pointing right four times. You will then see a screen similar to the below:


The fields you'll need to update are:
  1. Location Code
    1. This is a 4 digit code which will have been provided to you by Atria
  2. Location URL
    1. This will be the same across all your tablets, please email helpdesk@weareatria.com if you're unsure what your URL is
  3. Tariff ID
    1. This will only be required if you want the user to have a choice between multiple options before they enter their VRM. 
    2. If all bookings will be the same durations, this can remain blank.
  4. Server Post
    1. This is when the tablet will automatically retry sending any unsent bookings from the tablet. 
    2. This will be set to 2300 (11pm) by default. Please change this slightly so we don't have all tablets uploading again at the same time.
Once the relevant fields have been populated, please press Save.

You can now test the connection is working by entering a test booking into the tablet and it should be available on the back office.
