Setting Up Tablet/Kiosk on HUB

Setting Up Tablet/Kiosk on HUB

Introduction

Reading through this article will show you how to link a Tablet/Kiosk with TickitHUB.

The Process

This will run you through the steps you will need to take to setup the Tablet/Kiosk on HUB.

Firstly you will need to get the code that will be used to link RegPro to HUB. Atria will need to create this for you, please email helpdesk@weareatria.com and one of the team will create a new Location ID for you.

Once you have made a note of the Zone Code, you will be able to setup the permit type on the system where any VRMs received from the tablet will be allocated. This can be located in Permit Management > Permit Type Config. To add a new permit type, press Add at the base of the list. Please see below as an example setup:

Ensure the Permit Style is set to eParking.
If all VRMs added to the permit list are to have the same duration, this will need to be set here. As in the above example, all VRMs inputted on the tablet will be given a 3 day permit. This duration will be dependant on the site configuration from the client.
If multiple durations are required, then the fixed duration section of the Permit Type setup will be left blank, and addition configuration on the tablet will be needed. Please email helpdesk@weareatria.com with the required durations and we can create a tariff ID for you to enter into the configuration on the tablet. The same tariff ID can be used across multiple tablets.
As best practice, we recommend that you create one permit type for each tablet.

After the permit type has been added to the list, you will need to create the eParking Zone as mentioned previously. You will need to go back to Permit Management > eParking Zones. You will then need to add a new zone by clicking Add at the base of the list. You will then be displayed the below screen:

Here you will need to fill out the details that relate to the tablet site being linked. The below is an example of what this should look like when the details have been filled out:

  1. The type will need to be set to Kisok.
  2. The Zone Name will define which site is being linked. This is usually set to the same as the permit type name that was created previously.
  3. The Zone Code will need to be the code provided to you by Atria which was requested at the start of this article.
  4. The permit type will need to be the one that was created above.

Once  you've completed the above, you'll need to install the app and configure it on the tablet.
